5-Hit Blitz by Delgado Sunday, July 16th , 2062 Lorenzo Delgado was at the head of a Boulder hit parade at Crush Field. The right fielder went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Crush to a nice 17-3 victory over the Council Bluffs Express. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Delgado told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Express skipper Tomás Díaz said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Lorenzo Delgado hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Reynaldo García in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
