Hitting Streak Still Alive for Ramos Thursday, July 20th , 2062 Esteban Ramos's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Billings left fielder smacked 1 hit against the Council Bluffs Express in today's game at Pacific Railroad Park, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Cowboys drop the game, 3-2. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Esteban Ramos grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 9th. Thus far this year, Ramos is hitting .348 with 9 home runs, 50 RBIs and 66 runs scored. |
