Danville Stops Ramos Hit Streak Saturday, July 22nd , 2062 Billings left fielder Esteban Ramos experienced something against the Danville Dodos he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game. The Dodos pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 20 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Cowboys to a 4-2 victory at Panthers Ballpark. "Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 20-game hitting streak," Ramos joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories." For the year, Ramos has hit at a .344 clip with 50 RBIs, 9 home runs and 66 runs scored. |
