Playoffs? No Chance for Mankato Thursday, August 3rd , 2062 Fans of the Mankato Moondogs have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Moondogs have made the playoffs 19 times in their 68 years as a Charley Pegler League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2059. In the last 10 seasons, the Moondogs have made the playoffs 6 times. |
