Pahrump's Valéncia Injured, Out of Lineup Monday, June 4th , 2063 Pahrump closer Ramón Valéncia could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn labrum. He exited yesterday's Hollywood game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Valéncia would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." To date this year Valéncia has no saves with a 3-0 mark and 10.48 ERA. |
