Pahrump's Wood Down with Injury Friday, June 22nd , 2063 Don Wood of the Ranchers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Pahrump first baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Tombstone Geckos recently at Art Bell Coast to Coast AM Field. Wood suffered a broken kneecap while being hit by a pitch. The Ranchers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This season, Wood is batting .301 with 2 home runs. His totals include 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
