BL's Top Pitcher in June Is Moran Sunday, July 1st , 2063 This month when the Thunder Bay manager wrote the name "Moran" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in June Tony Moran took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 1.26 ERA in 4 starts, piling up 28.2 innings and 26 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .233 average. For his superb performance Moran was named the Baxter League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This year, Moran has compiled a 11-2 record with a 2.68 ERA. |
