Great Week for Folsom's Jim Pollard Monday, July 30th , 2063 Jim Pollard swung a blistering bat last week for Folsom, rapping out 11 hits in 26 at-bats against Foxhounds opponents to propel himself to the Provost League Player of the Week Award. Whenever the second baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 23-year-old racked up a .423 batting average with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season, Pollard has hit at a .278 clip with 48 RBIs, 7 home runs and 51 runs scored. |
