Hit Parade: George Pops 6 Hits Sunday, August 12th , 2063 It was a hits blitz for Michael George at Lisa Rinna Field. The Medford Mules right fielder tore into the Prince George Cougars for 6 hits in 6 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Cougars swept past the Mules, 13-8, to ruin George's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Medford manager Benjamin O'Rorke explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 6 hits from Michael was nice but it wasn't enough." Michael George singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Buddy Millar in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
