Charlottesville Sweeps into the Round 2 Tuesday, August 22nd , 2062 With a 6-3 victory at Ballpark of Minneapolis, the Charlottesville Marching Ants have completed a sweep of the Albany Atoms in the Round 1. "On to the Round 2 and feeling good," said Shoichi Mochizuki. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit." For the series, Mochizuki hit .562 and won series MVP honors. He had 0 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Charlottesville Marching Ants don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oshawa Dodgers - Traverse City Talons series. Oshawa leads the series 3 games to 0. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on August 27th , 2062.
