Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Fernández Friday, September 22nd , 2062 He may only be 21, but Augusto Fernández of the Albany Atoms has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Frontier League. The reliever was today named the FL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2062. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 18 saves in 24 relief appearances and 28 strikeouts in 42.1 innings. He had a record of 3-2 to go with his 1.49 ERA. He received 32 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dave Acuff of the Mississauga Credits finished second in voting, while Lawrence Horne of the Aurora Bullfrogs finished third.
