Big Day for Dai: Swats 5 Hits Monday, January 17th , 2061 After his 5-hit effort at Steelers Ballpark was tarnished by Chang Beer's 13-11 loss to the Pillsbury Doughboys, right fielder Huu Dai told BNN beat writers it was "a missed opportunity for a special day." "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "I would have been happy to stop there if it meant we got a win." He didn't get the win, but the 16-year-old had a spectacular 5-for-6 game against the Doughboys. "His swing is getting there," said Elephants skipper Jorge Yánez after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Huu did that to perfection and we wasted it." Huu Dai singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
