Whitesell Connects for 3 Homers for Voyagers Thursday, January 5th , 2062 Vanguard Voyagers catcher Carlos Whitesell left the POS Portal pitching staff in ruins at Ballpark of Spokane HS, beating the Machines, 16-13, with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Whitesell told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the Vanguard catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 3 runs.
