González Sizzles with 38-Game Batting Streak Friday, January 13th , 2062 The hot bat of Bros. first baseman Miguel González continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 38 games after he went 1-for-3 in today's 13-6 loss to the Surg at Silvertips Ballpark. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Miguel González was hit by a pitch in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Bill Stokes in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th. In the 2062 season González is hitting .338 with 8 home runs. |
