Díaz Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, February 1st , 2062 Dani Díaz, left fielder for the A2O Contracting, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 13-8 victory over the Shell Oil Royals at Spurs Ballpark. "Not the outcome we wanted," Shell Oil manager Damien Ravenshurst said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Dani Díaz hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Díaz has hit 6 home runs and posted a .374 batting average. |
