Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Chávez Tuesday, February 14th , 2062 Francisco Chávez of the Mobil Pegasus tagged 2 hits in today's 5-4 loss to the Pepsi Generation at Golden Giants Stadium to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Francisco Chávez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Martínez in the 5th, walked in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
