Soul Heading to Round 3 Thursday, March 9th , 2062 The STX Soul and Barclays Eagles didn't hold back anything in the Round 2, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Round 3. STX won the final game by a score of 7-2 at Ballpark of Austin HS and that concluded the series, 4-3. "Relief is the biggest thing," STX right fielder Vicente Alarcon said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Barclays deserves credit for the hard fight." Alarcon paced the STX offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .613 with a .649 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 14 RBI and scored 12 runs. The STX Soul will play against the Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalos in the next round. Buffalo Wild Wings won their series against the Lockheed Wings 4 games to 3.
