WBL Top Player, 2062 Choice Is Yamamoto

Tokichiro Yamamoto took High School All-Star Teams by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 18.
For his spectacular campaign, the PlayStation Gamers star has been named the 2062 Warren Buffett League Alberto Guzman Batter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the shortstop.
On the season he compiled a .391 batting average to go with a .530 on-base percentage. The native of Haruna, Japan also added 4 doubles, no triples, 26 home runs, 61 RBIs and 60 runs scored.
He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 48. Jorge Gabriel of the Adobe Acrobats finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Finley Rotheray of the Barclays Eagles finished third with 3 first place votes.
