Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Hampton Wednesday, January 24th , 2063 Edgar Hampton of the Mobil Pegasus tagged 1 hit in today's 11-8 loss to the POS Portal Machines at Ballpark of Spokane HS to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Edgar Hampton struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. In his season totals Hampton has 2 home runs and a .400 batting average. |
