Ho-Dac Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games
Wednesday, January 24th , 2063
And the streak goes on.
Gap Ho-Dac collected yet another hit in the 21-2 Chang Beer Elephants win over the Mean Green at Steelers Ballpark. The Chang Beer left fielder finished 1-for-5 in the game. During an extended batting practice session before the game, the famously hard-working Ho-Dac had fielded questions from reporters about his hitting streak, which now sits at 20 games.
"I'm not doing too much special," he said. "I'm well-prepared and I'm just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play." Gap Ho-Dac struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th and grounded out in the 6th.
This season, Ho-Dac has delivered 41 hits in 91 at-bats for a .451 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .541 clip and his totals also include 25 RBIs and 30 runs scored. This year Ho-Dac has played in 20 games.
