Hitting Streak Still Alive for Gálvez
Monday, January 29th , 2063
Carlos Gálvez has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Pfizer left fielder picked up 3 more today against the Ford Motors and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Blues won the game, 6-1.
"Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Carlos Gálvez walked in a run in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Tomás Riley in the 8th.
Currently Gálvez is batting .402 with 41 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 21 runs and scored 29 times.
