Tinnin Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Tuesday, January 30th , 2063 The hot bat of Motors left fielder Vern Tinnin continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 2-for-4 in today's 3-2 loss to the Bros. at Ballpark of Cincinnati HS. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Vern Tinnin grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year, Tinnin is batting .462 with 54 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 33 times and has batted in 38 runs. |
