Hitting Streak Still Alive for Thuan Tuesday, January 30th , 2063 Hiep Thuan ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games at Steelers Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Chang Beer Elephants dropped the game, 5-3, to the Exxon Oilers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Thuan said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Hiep Thuan flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Thuan is hitting .417 with 3 home runs. |
