Nick Stretches Hit String to 20 Wednesday, January 31st , 2063 Ramón Nick, first baseman for the Mobil Pegasus, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 14-13 victory over the Publix Meatheads at Courageous Stadium. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends."
