Gálvez Has 25-Game Hitting Streak
Saturday, February 3rd , 2063
The Pfizer Blues fell to the Nintendo Bros. in Mutiny Ballpark, even as 16-year-old left fielder Carlos Gálvez upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Gálvez finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Blues from dropping the 10-6 decision.
"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Gálvez. Carlos Gálvez struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
So far this season, Gálvez has put up a .419 batting average with 52 hits, 4 home runs and 25 RBIs.
