Capitals Halt Alexander Hit Streak Sunday, February 4th , 2063 Chris Alexander's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Dr. Pepper Surg dropped their contest with the General Electric Capitals, 7-3, at Ballpark of Huntington Beach HS. Alexander failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Alexander spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This year, Alexander has hit at a .380 clip with 49 hits, 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
