Abell Raps Home Depot for 5 Hits Sunday, February 4th , 2063 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but John Deere's Roberto Abell made it happen against the Hammers. Everything came together at the plate for the 14-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Mean Green triumph, 17-10, at Cincinnati HS Grounds. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Abell said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Roberto Abell singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
