Montáñez Hits in 20 Straight Games Saturday, February 10th , 2063 Leonardo Montáñez ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Mayhem Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Wal-Mart Stars dropped the game, 7-3, to the Bumblebee Tuna. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Montáñez said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Leonardo Montáñez walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This season, Montáñez is hitting .432 with 10 home runs. |
