IBM's Fincher Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Saturday, February 10th , 2063 5 hits in 6 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today, Mike Fincher of the IBM Machines had a sensational game against A2O at Ballpark of Toledo HS. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark, but it didn't pay off in a victory. The Contracting won the game, 10-7. In the postgame press conference Fincher joked it was "a week's worth of hitting." "I guess I can take the rest of the week off," he said. Told of his third baseman's comments, IBM manager Kendrick Roberge smiled and said "when he gets a win to go with those 5 hits, then we'll talk." Mike Fincher singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
