Ho-Dac Hits in 37 Consecutive Games Sunday, February 11th , 2063 With 1 hit at Steeldogs Ballpark, Gap Ho-Dac added another game to his hitting streak -- the Chang Beer left fielder has now hit safely for 37 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Elephants, as they fell, 7-2, to the Heinz 57s. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Heinz manager Fred Snyder said later. "I'll let him get 3 hits in 3 at-bats if it means we get a win." Gap Ho-Dac flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
