STX Stops Binning Hit Streak Sunday, February 11th , 2063 The 20-game hitting streak is over. Bacardi 152s first baseman Frank Binning failed to get a hit against the STX Soul and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 16-year-old went 0-for-1 in his club's 5-1 victory over the Soul at Field of the Bishops. "I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." This year, Binning has 15 home runs and a .464 batting average. |
