Generation Heading to Round 2 Sunday, February 25th , 2063 The championship aspirations of the Pepsi Generation are still alive and well, while the Heinz 57s are left to wait until next year. Pepsi won the clinching game of the Round 1 12-6 over Heinz at Golden Giants Stadium, to win the series 4-2. "You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said center fielder Raúl Sánchez, who paced the Pepsi offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit." Sánchez claimed the MVP by racking up 14 hits for a .452 average, with a .514 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 13 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Pepsi Generation will play against the Bacardi 152s in the next round. Bacardi won their series against the Samsung Lions 4 games to 2. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on February 27th , 2063.
