Acrobats Show No Mercy in 11-0 Thrashing of Doughboys Friday, January 11th , 2064 The Pillsbury Doughboys were almost helpless in their 11-0 loss to the Adobe Acrobats and hurler Álex García. García kept the Doughboys confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to García," Pillsbury manager Leo Davis said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 16-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 12 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," García said.
