Red-Hot Killough Scorches Dows Wednesday, January 30th , 2064 The Harley Davidson Rebels stopped the Union Carbide Dows by a score of 9-4 at Assassins Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Eric Killough. The 17-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Killough said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Killough did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Dows. "Not much that I can say," offered Union Carbide manager Bob Griffin. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Eric Killough singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
