US Robotics Wins Round 1 Monday, February 25th , 2064 The Round 1 may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The US Robotics Hackers, however, are not complaining. The Hackers were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Starbucks Hot Shots to advance to the Round 2. US Robotics won the final game by a 11-10 count at Field of the Hammer and the series 4-2. Hackers second baseman Pedro Blanco was named series MVP, as he hit .464 with a .516 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. "It's not going to be the last time Starbucks makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," Blanco said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day." The US Robotics Hackers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Firestone Fires - Boeing Flyers series. Firestone leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on February 27th , 2064.
