Neighbors Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Saturday, July 29th , 2062 Saint Johns second baseman Larry Neighbors keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 25 games after collecting 2 hits at Sint Maarten Stade. The Water Wolves earned the 4-3 victory over the Philipsburg Saints. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Neighbors said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Larry Neighbors hit a two-run single in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and doubled in the 8th. In 2062 Neighbors has hit at a .375 clip with 63 hits, 3 home runs, 24 RBIs and has scored 26 times. |
