The Showdown Goes the Distance, Coxen Hole Prevails Sunday, September 3rd , 2062 The Coxen Hole Schooners are off to the Supremacy Series after an exciting The Showdown triumph. Coxen Hole downed the Saint Johns Water Wolves, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 7-3 win tonight at The Hole wrapping up the series 2-1. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Apaghana Kishen, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Kishen put up a .500 with a .545 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 2 runs himself. The Coxen Hole Schooners will play against the Cat Island Pirates in the next round. Cat Island won their series against the San Angelo Missions 2 games to 0.
