Port Elizabeth could only muster 2 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Schroeder, who controlled them throughout the game. Durban won the contest, 1-0. Schroeder added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Schroeder told reporters after the shutout win.
