Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Jarvis Sunday, February 4th , 2063 Win or lose, Mitch Jarvis just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 2 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Wellington Water Wolves first baseman went 2-for-6, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 26-20, by the Tonga Killers at Caribou Ballpark. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Mitch Jarvis grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
