They were all words being used by the Auckland Warriors after today being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. "It stings to come this close but come up short," said manager Pedro Patino. Auckland last appeared in the postseason in 2060. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 26-year history.
