Majuro Narrowly Wins Conference 1 Division 2 Friday, February 16th , 2063 It was far from a foregone conclusion, but the Majuro Bruins are now champions of the Conference 1 Division 2. "We battled, day in and day out," said left fielder Manaolana Heluma. "This is one to savor, as it was close right down to the end and that puts a lot of pressure on a team." With a record of 27-14, the Bruins have officially won their 7th division crown. Manager Marty Waterson said there's "a lot of pride and excitement" involved in coming out on top of the Conference 1 Division 2. The club will now be looking to win the 4th Oceania Baseball Academy championship in franchise history. |
