Devil Bears Heading to Round 3 Wednesday, March 7th , 2063 The Round 3 hopes remain strong for the Sydney Devil Bears. The team tonight eliminated the Suva Desperados with a 5-2 win, to capture the Round 2 4-2. "We're rolling now," said Travis Worsfold, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the Round 3." The standout offensive performance from Worsfold included a .348 batting average, .483 on-base percentage, 5 home runs, 12 RBI and 6 runs scored. The Sydney Devil Bears will play against the Brisbane Beacons in the next round. Brisbane won their series against the Koror Checkers 4 games to 2.
