Week's Best Player Honored by SL1 Monday, February 4th , 2064 Melbourne Ports right fielder Allan Gordon had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Conference 1 named him Player of the Week. Gordon banged out 12 hits in 25 at-bats on the way to a .480 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season, Gordon is swinging the bat at a .343 rate with 35 hits in 102 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 24 runs and driven in 19. |
