Georghiou Grabs CBL Best Batter Award for July Monday, August 1st , 2061 Eudor Georghiou is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Taiwan first baseman joined that select company when the Chinese Baseball League announced the results of July's voting. Georghiou totaled 20 hits, 7 walks, 9 home runs, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored last month to put together a .308 batting average and .375 on-base percentage. Thus far this year, Georghiou is hitting .242 with 9 home runs, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
