Tianjin Shuts Out Changchun, 1-0 Monday, August 14th , 2062 The Tianjin Brigands did little to support starter Rhys Courcha against the Changchun Chippers, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Chippers, striking out 10 and surrendering 2 hits. The performance from Courcha allowed Tianjin to escape with the 1-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Rhys, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Courcha told BNN reporters following the win.
