Round 1 Sweep to Baseball Team Thursday, August 24th , 2062 The Chinese Taipei Baseball Team rolled over the Qingdao Timber Rattlers 1-0 at Taichung Grounds to easily win the 2062 Round 1 crown. Chinese Taipei won in a walk and swept the series from the Timber Rattlers 4-0. It was their 4th championship title. Winning manager José García praised his own club as well as the opposition, calling the Timber Rattlers "a fine team." "It wasn't as easy as it looked. We had to play good baseball to beat them," he said. "We always seemed to come up with the key hit at the right time and to make the plays on defense when we had to. That's how you win the Round 1."
