Huboka Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, June 28th , 2063 The Danshui Red Stixx may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 3-0, to the Panjin Fighting Knights, but Leonani Huboka continued to hit like a god. The shortstop collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Huboka is playing great and is on fire right now," Red Stixx manager José Leal said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Huboka was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Leonani Huboka struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. In his season totals Huboka has 7 home runs and a .364 batting average. |
