3-HR Binge for Girra Against Faisalabad College Friday, March 31st , 2062 Xian College Pipers catcher Ezera Girra put on a dazzling display of power at Faisalabad College Grounds against the Faisalabad College Tarpons. In the 12-2 Pipers victory, Girra penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Faisalabad College manager Gegham Oganesyan said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 19-year-old had 4 hits in 6 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Girra said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today." Ezera Girra hit a solo-shot off Asim Djukic in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Kuukburi Jadoon in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Khalil Kermani in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
