Blasters Heading to World Series
Thursday, April 26th , 2063
The Kinshasa College Blasters took time to celebrate with the Kinshasa College fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's League Championship Series triumph over the Pyongyang College Werewolves.

Members of the Blasters hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Kinshasa College fans in attendance at Ballpark of Kinshasa College, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 8-5 win to seal the series 4-1.

"We've got great fan support," said second baseman Rafiq bin Jihad. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Pyongyang College fans that were there even congratulated us on the win."

For the series, bin Jihad hit .591 with a .640 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, 9 RBI and scored 9 runs.

Things weren't so cordial on the Werewolves side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.

The Kinshasa College Blasters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bombay College Angels - Faisalabad College Tarpons series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
