The San Fernando Bears converted a terrific effort from starter Alexander Swanson into a win over the Omaha Cyclones at Chico's Bail Bonds Field. The Bears won the game by a final score of 3-0. Geoffroy Robert nailed down his 1st save. The triumph puts San Fernando at 25-24 for the season.
The Bears prevailed in a game in which the pitchers had the upper hand.
"We had a good game plan," Swanson said, "and we were able to execute it."
